Agribusiness has been recognized as a crucial vector for Brazilian economic growth. In 2018, the sum of goods and services generated in agribusiness reached R $ 1.44 trillion or 21.1% of the Brazilian GDP1. Among the segments, the largest share is in the agricultural sector, which corresponds to 74% of this amount (R $ 1.07 trillion), livestock corresponds to 26%, or R $ 375.3 billion.
